The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) opened three disaster recovery centers in Vermont to help people recover from the devastation caused after Hurricane Irene marched up the eastern seaboard. FEMA hopes to have as many as 10 centers open in Vermont by the end of this week.

The centers will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week until further notice.
