Rutland VA Community-Based Outreach Clinic Grand Opening
You are invited to the grand opening of the beautiful new VA Community-Based Outreach Clinic (CBOC) in Rutland on Friday, July 20th. The event will begin at 12:00 noon with refreshments and a tour of the new facility. At 1:00 pm I, and others, will be making remarks about the importance of this new health clinic for veterans in the Rutland area.
Three years ago we had three community-based outreach clinics in Vermont. Today, with the construction of new clinics in Newport and Brattleboro, we now have five. Further, in addition to the new facility in Rutland, there will be an expansion of the VA clinic in Colchester and we have been making significant improvements at the VA Medical Center at White River Junction.
Thousands of Vermont veterans have put their lives on the line defending our country. It is important that we keep our promises to them and provide them with the best health care possible.
