The United States is the only major nation without a universal health care system. Some 47 million Americans have no health insurance, even more are underinsured, and we spend more per capita on health care than any other country on earth.
Please join me and the renowned author T.R. Reid who produced the award winning "Frontline" documentary "Sick Around the World". We will discuss what we can learn from other countries who have developed cost effective universal health care systems-and will be joined on the panel by leading Vermont physicians.
DATE: Monday, June 1st
TIME: 7:00 PM
PLACE: Unitarian Church
152 Pearl Street, Burlington, VT
Please join me for a serious discussion as to how we can transform the American health care system.
The meeting is free and open to the public. RSVP is requested, but not required.
