BURLINGTON, Vt., Sept. 29 - U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will join Sen. Bernie Sanders on the weekly "Brunch with Bernie" radio and television program on Friday.
Sanders, a member of the Senate Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee, has advocated much-needed investments in rebuilding roads and bridges and railroads as a way to create good-paying jobs.

The secretary and the senator will discuss Vermont's transportation needs on the nationwide broadcast of The Thom Hartmann Program.
The show airs at 1 p.m. in Vermont on WDEV radio. It also is carried live at noon by Vermont cable operators on Free Speech TV. A live stream also is available at noon on the senator's website at http://sanders.senate.gov
