100 Percent for the Environment
The League of Conservation Voters released its 2011 National Environmental Scorecard on Tuesday. Sen. Bernie Sanders earned a 100 percent rating based on his voting record. The scorecard looked at votes to end tax breaks for hugely profitable oil and gas companies; protect the health of Americans by preventing the Clean Air Act from being gutted; and ensure the Environmental Protection Agency could go forward with standards to raise fuel efficiency in our cars and trucks while cutting carbon pollution.
