Senate Republicans Kill Jobs Bill
Senate Republicans voted Tuesday night to kill a jobs package. The measure that Republicans blocked was designed to put Americans to work rebuilding crumbling roads and bridges and other infrastructure projects. Sen. Bernie Sanders voted for the measure but said he would have preferred an even bolder plan. "We have to create millions of jobs as soon as possible," he told radio host Ed Schultz earlier in the day.
