Sen. Bernie Sanders has been a frequent guest on Ed Schultz’s television and radio shows. They’ve talked a lot about a lot of different topics, but there was one thing that Ed’s listeners told him they wanted to know more about. So Ed on Monday devoted a segment of his nationally-syndicated radio show to a discussion about the man he called the “spokesperson for the working folk of America.” The longest serving independent in the history of Congress said even he was surprised by the path of his career. “To be frank with you, Ed, it never occurred to me in a million years that I would be elected to the Senate.”
