Millions of Americans are looking for jobs and millions of jobs would be created by investing in much-needed repairs of our crumbling roads and bridges. Those were among the priorities laid out in a white paper issued on Sunday by Sen. Bernie Sanders, the ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee. Sanders’ paper was issued in advance of Monday’s release of Congressional Budget Office report on the budget and economic outlook. CBO Director Douglas Elmendorf will testify at a Budget Committee hearing on Wednesday.
