Sanders at St. Anselm
Appearing at a town meeting this weekend in Manchester, N.H., the longest-serving independent in the history of Congress discussed the collapsing American middle class and the growing gap in wealth and income in the United States. There was an overflow crowd. At the same time Sanders was speaking at St. Anselm College, the Koch brothers and Citizens United hosted a “Freedom Summit” across town. The contrast was remarkable.
