Sanders Push Helps Bring Down Gas Prices

Gasoline prices in Vermont are coming down. Northwestern Vermont for years has been one of the most profitable places in the country to sell gas. But stations in Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle counties lately have had some of the lowest-priced gas in the state. The Burlington Free Press credits Sen. Bernie Sanders for having “kept up a steady campaign of questioning the reasoning behind the difference in price, including holding a congressional field hearing in Burlington last year.”
