Town Meetings

There will be a town meeting Sunday in Randolph, the seventh so far this year hosted by Sen. Bernie Sanders. As the United States faces unprecedented challenges with the economy, climate change, health care and a $15 trillion national debt, Vermonters come together at Sanders' town meetings to share their thoughts on those and other issues with the senator and local leaders. Last weekend, Sanders met with more than 130 Vermonters in Bristol's Holley Hall. Topics ranged from health care to the collapsing middle-class.  Often the topics are open ended, but occasionally the meetings focus on a single topic.  The crisis in dental care in American, for example, was the subject of a March 10 meeting attended by more than 200 people.
