Trade Deals Cost American Jobs

Sen. Bernie Sanders said on the floor of the senate today that U.S. trade policy has been "a disaster" for American workers. These new trade agreements are nothing more than a continuation of a failed trade policy. He spoke about Jeffrey Immelt's infatuation with China. The GE boss who shipped jobs overseas now advises Obama on jobs in America. And the senator recalled a shopping trip to a Smithsonian gift shop that stocked busts of George Washington that are, you guessed it, made in China.
