BURLINGTON, Vt. Jan. 29 – Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) this weekend will hold three community meals and town meetings across Vermont. The gatherings will be an opportunity for community members of all ages to share a meal together, enjoy live music and engage in meaningful conversation about the challenges facing Vermont and the country.
“Vermonters have a lot of ideas, questions and concerns about how we best address the many challenges we face — from ICE raids to housing, health care, education, threats to our democracy and many other issues. It’s winter, it’s cold and it’s time for us to get together,” Sanders said. “I look forward to this opportunity for Vermonters to join together for a meal this weekend and answering their questions.”
