First Annual Youth Chess Day

Sen. Bernie Sanders invites all Vermont students to learn how to play chess and compete in a recreational tournament. The “Learn-To-Play” session is for students who are new to chess, while the tournament is for experienced players. Lunch is free for all participants. Students with all levels of experience are welcome and highly encouraged to attend.
What: Youth Chess Day
When: Saturday, April 1, 11:00a.m – 4:00p.m.
11:00am – 12:15pm: Learn-To-Play Session (Grades 1-8)
12:15pm – 1:00pm: Lunch
1:00pm – 4:00pm: Recreational Tournament (Grades 1-12)
Where: Judd Hall, Vermont Technical College, 124 Admin Drive, Randolph Center, VT
