As you know, the bad news is that the cost of home heating is soaring. The good news is that, thanks to a major increase in federal funding from the American Rescue Plan, Vermont is getting a record $49 million – more than double our usual amount – to help you pay for heating bills, furnaces and fuel tank replacements or repairs. This means that more Vermonters than ever before will get the help they need from this program, which is known as LIHEAP.
