Defund Obamacare: Thousands Will Die
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), chairman of the subcommittee on primary health and aging, will host a forum tomorrow to highlight the impact defunding the Affordable Care Act would have on millions of uninsured Americans.
Recent studies have shown that 26,000 to 45,000 people die each year because they do not have health insurance and do not have access to the care they need before it is too late. Many of these people will get health insurance under the new law so the recent threats to Obamacare and the government shutdown are truly a matter of life and death for thousands of Americans.
