WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 — Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP), will hold a press conference tomorrow with doctors and public health experts representing tens of thousands of health care professionals nationwide.
Together, Sanders and the public health leaders will highlight the lifesaving importance of vaccines in protecting children, families and communities — and push back against Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s dangerous, decades-long crusade against vaccines and his promotion of conspiracy theories that have been repeatedly debunked by scientists.
