BURLINGTON, Vt., Aug. 15 – Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Sunday will kick off a series of seven celebrations for older Vermonters, taking place this month across the state in Burlington, Bennington, Castleton, Brattleboro, Barre, St. Johnsbury and Newport. Sanders’ office is hosting these events for seniors to come together, enjoy good music and food, and connect with each other.
